Extreme Ironing with Jack Pembrook

If you have been following me for a while, you probably know that I am a well-known practitioner of extreme ironing. Extreme ironing combines an extreme sport or situation with the satisfaction of a well-pressed shirt, and I’ve had the opportunity to make sure my shirt is looking fresh all over the world and in all sorts of conditions. You can see some of these images here!

This summer, around the Fourth of July, I got an email from Youtuber Jack Pembrook looking for more information about extreme ironing. Jack was interested in both learning more about it, and wanted to try it for himself. Naturally, he wanted it to be as extreme as possible, so I gathered a crew and we headed over the mountains to central Washington to do some extreme ironing while rock climbing! We had a blast filming with Jack and were able to make some pretty cool images between the day out with Jack and a day out scouting a week or so prior.

You should definitely check out Jack’s full video below, but before that, here’s a few of my favorite behind-the-scenes images!
